GARDEN SERVICES
In additional to garden design we offer professional border assessments and tailored improvements, through weeding, pruning, soil enrichment, and planting. Every plant is chosen based on client preferences, colour, scent, seasonal interest, and suitability for the environment—following the ‘right plant, right place’ philosophy for plant success.
We are committed to sustainability, we support wildlife and source plants from local nurseries.
Specific garden tasks we love to do include:
-
Plant border design, and re-design, with plant sourcing and planting. If you have a border that's tired, plain and dull, and verging on embarrassing we would love to re-design the plant selection for you. For this we charge a set fee based on the border size and the complexity of the area.
-
Pruning, topiary, training and plant regeneration.
-
Bulb selection, supply and planting.
-
Mulching beds; a good think mulch applied in autumn or spring is a great way to add nutrients to your garden, improve the soil structure and lock moisture into the soil. It also supresses weeds and helps to regulate the soil temperature.
-
General border maintenance and weeding.
-
Vegetable and Fruit garden set up and tending; we love growing fruit and vegetables and want to share our passion with others.
-
We're happy to edge and cut your lawn, but ask that clients allow us the use of their lawn mower.
What we can't help with; it's important to employ the right gardener for the job at hand, and therefore we need to tell you about the things that we can't help you with:
-
Green waste removal, we don't have a license, but we can arrange to have this cleared at the end of the job; for this clients will need to pay the waste remover directly.
-
Clearing large areas of overgrown garden, for this you will need to use another gardener.
-
We like to garden organically if at all possible, and therefore we don't apply chemical weedkillers.
-
Sadly we have no experience of ride-on mowers and therefore we don't offer this service.
